Your Second Visit to Our Livermore Practice

Livermore area chiropractic patients appreciate we explain things first

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you. Often a more complete review of x-rays and report of findings will take place on the second visit. This visit is normally 20 minutes or less, depending on the extent of the report and any further treatment.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings.

This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following day. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of your doctor, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Dr. Alexander Asks some important questions of interest to Livermore residents - Chiropractor Livermore Dr. Alexander Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Where do most Livermore residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Livermore newborn.
