Livermore Chiropractor Dr. Matt Alexander

The three most important things in my life are family, religion, and chiropractic. When I was nineteen years old I had the opportunity to serve as a missionary for two years in Mexico City. It was one of the best times of my life. I have always had a strong desire to work with and to serve others. Ever since I was young boy I have had an interest in science, biology, and how the human body works. So, when it came time for me to choose a profession, chiropractic was the perfect fit.

My dad is also chiropractor, so I was lucky enough to have had the benefits of chiropractic throughout my life. I have seen how it has helped me and my family to stay healthy.

I did most of my undergraduate work at Brigham Young University and then finished my bachelors in Science from Excelsior College. I got my doctorate degree from Life Chiropractic College West. I now practice with my dad, brother-in-law, and Dr. Dan Williams at Alexander Chiropractic Health Center in Livermore, CA.

I am happily married to my beautiful wife Tawny. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. We have two wonderful children. Spending time with my wife and children is my favorite thing to do.

Dr. Alexander Asks some important questions of interest to Livermore residents - Chiropractor Livermore Dr. Alexander Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Where do most Livermore residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Livermore newborn.
