Knee Decompression

Available in Manteca

Given that your knees endure a lifetime of compression from everyday activities, it’s not surprising that knee degeneration is one of the most common joint problems. At Alexander Chiropractic and Wellness, we offer a gentle, non-invasive solution to help you avoid injections and surgery while finding lasting relief from chronic knee pain.

What Is Knee Decompression?

Knee decompression therapy uses advanced technology to gently create space within your knee joint, allowing it to function with less friction. When your joints have adequate space, inflammation decreases, tightness eases, and discomfort fades. This mechanical approach addresses the root cause of your pain rather than simply masking symptoms.

How It Works

During your first visit, which typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, we’ll conduct a detailed examination and review X-rays or MRI results to determine if knee decompression is right for you. If you haven’t had imaging done, we can take X-rays right here in our office.

Our state-of-the-art decompression machine securely positions you in a comfortable seated position while gently decompressing your knee over 10 to 20 minutes. Many patients have already tried physical therapy and other options without success before finding relief with our approach.

Please note that knee decompression is not appropriate for patients with synthetic knee replacements. If you’ve had prior knee surgery, you’ll need a consultation with our doctor to determine if this therapy is suitable for your situation.

Complete Care for Better Results

We often combine knee decompression with other therapies like chiropractic care and shockwave therapy, which stimulates new blood vessel formation and helps facilitate your body’s natural healing process. Most patients experience symptom relief within just a couple of weeks with consistent treatment, typically starting with two to three sessions per week for about 12 visits total. We’ll also provide therapeutic exercises and guidance on using ice and gentle mobility work at home. Some soreness is normal as we change your joint structure, but most patients simply feel better with each visit.

Affordable Package Options

Knee decompression is a cash service and is not covered by insurance. However, we offer package deals that bring down the cost when you purchase multiple sessions at once, making this effective treatment more accessible for our patients.
