Frequently Asked Questions

As a new patient, what can I expect at my initial visit?

You’ll get a thorough evaluation, followed by a review of our findings. Then we’ll put together a personalized treatment plan. We’ll let you know what it will take to fix your issue, what the plan would look like, how many visits you might need, and how long it would take. If we can’t fix the problem, we’ll refer you to the appropriate type of doctor who can.

What are the benefits of long-term care?

The use of chiropractic care offers the advantage of experiencing milder and less frequent flare-ups over time, resulting in healthier joints as you age. Additionally, it reduces the likelihood of requiring invasive procedures such as surgery.

You also can enjoy more mobility as you age. People also notice that they sleep better and their mood is better, they get sick less often and feel healthier when they come in for regular chiropractic care.

Once I go to a chiropractor, will I have to go forever?

No, the choice is always yours. If you want to come in for maintenance care, we encourage it. Many people would rather have a better quality of life, avoid surgery, and continue going to the chiropractor.

Is chiropractic care expensive?

Chiropractic is a very affordable form of natural healthcare, helping you save money by staying well.  We also have a monthly membership, where you can come in every week, and the price is similar to most people’s copays with their insurance.

Because we want to help as many people as possible, we take most insurances and have many different payment options that make it affordable for people to get the care they need.

Is chiropractic care for all ages?

Yes, our care is different for the various age groups. For babies, the treatment is gentle, with no popping or cracking. We just use light pressure on different areas to help them be able to move their head properly and to be able to help their spine and hips move the way that they should.

Why should I have my child checked?

The first moment of a child’s life can be extremely traumatic, with squeezing and twisting that can affect their spinal alignment. As they grow into toddlers, little ones often fall. And from a young age, kids look down at phones and tablets in a position their spine was not designed for. Their spines absorb all these forces, often leading to postural issues and spinal distortions that can cause bigger issues. Chiropractic can help your child stay healthy and active.

Do you offer gentle techniques?

Yes! With older patients, we give softer adjustments and use the Drop Table Technique, which doesn’t require any twisting or popping. We also use the ArthroStim©, a gentle instrument that gently taps the vertebra loose and back into place without twisting or popping.

Is it going to hurt to get adjusted?

While you may feel slightly sore afterward, an adjustment should never be considered painful. In fact, most patients say that it feels really good!
